Todd Shanley/Lawrence Cruciana NCLGISA
Lawrence Cruciana, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CMMC-RPA, and founder and president of Corporate Information Technologies will be co-presenting alongside Todd Shanley, Chief Information Officer for Cabarrus County at the 2023 NCLGISA Spring Symposium in Wilmington, NC.
Their presentation, entitled "Residual Risk - It's Not Always About Zero Days" discusses how cybersecurity isn't just defined by the "flashy zero day exploit", but rather consistently securing the "practical and, often, more opportunistic areas of the information ecosystem" . It is a dangerous time for SLTT as cyber criminals grow bolder in their demands and the rise of machine learning and AI makes it easier than ever to conduct automated cyber attacks.
For SLTT cyber attacks are often made extremely public, are difficult to correct, and can spread fast. Shanley and Cruciana hope to discuss how SLTT can secure their critical infrastructure and protect the private data and services that its citizens rely on every day.
Shanley and Cruciana will be presenting on May 25th at 8:00AM
CorpInfoTech will also be exhibiting at NCLGISA for those interested in learning about the managed IT and security services that we offer for organization and SLTT governments looking to secure their IT infrastructure and operational assets.
The 2023 NCLGISA Spring Symposium will be held May 24-26 in Wilmington NC.
